Our Active Schools Committee members were appointed in September 2017. One of their first jobs was to pick a winner from the Active School Slogan competition that was run in the school. Congratulations to Naoise in rang a Sé for coming up with this excellent slogan.
Our Active School Committee:

Our Active Committee consists of 12 pupils, from 1st class upwards. The active committee meets and discuss our progress, makes future plans, conducts spot checks etc. You will recognise our committee as they wear an active school badge. Our active committee ensures the P.E. equipment is on the yard for use at lunch time and that our PE room is as it should be, etc. They also update the active school board and check the suggestion box. This year we set up P.E. monitors to ensure the P.E. room is tidy and everything is in it's place. They also do a weekly check up and audit of equipment to ensure nothing is missing or broken. Since we've appointed our P.E monitors we have noticed a huge improvement in the maintenance and upkeep of the P.E store and our wonderful Active committee are to thank for this.
