Remember- Eat healthy, take your breaks outside, have some fun, limit screen time. Get outdoors and enjoy life. Don't be a slave to technology.
Work hard at your small bit of work- Get outside and play even harder!

THIS IS FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK. Take your time. I am suggesting a paragraph per day.

It is a competition which will run until Friday. See who can translate as close to my solution. Use a foclóir. Please do not use any google translate as I have the match : )
TRANSLATE

HISTORY INCLUDING ART !!!!!   Follow these instructions please

1.  Read the file below.
2. On an A4 page, transcribe(write out) the national anthem (as Gaeilge) in your BEST writing. Perhaps you could also give it the old manuscript effect with some tea bags. Make sure Be careful that you do not drench it.
3 On a separate page, draw 6 mini flags but do not colour them yet.
4.Write one fact about our national anthem on each flag.
5. Now colour each flag. Use rich colours.
6. cUT OUT the FACT flags and attach to your A4 page with Amhrán na bhFiann.

Quiz your family at home -maybe over dinner- with DO YOU KNOW WHO or WHEN WAS questions from what you have learned. Don't embarrass anyone and just have a bit of fun. Instill some Irish pride into your house this Easter.

No. 1 I did a drawing of three circles divided into four equal parts. There were 12 parts in total.
No. 8(a) I divided 60:80 by 10, leaving 6:8, and then by 2, leaving 3:4. Reversing that gives the ratio 4:3.
No. 10. 7+3=10, meaning the total number of parts in the ratio is 10. 250÷10=25, so 1 part is 25. 25×7=175. 25×3=75. Emma: 175 euros, Jane: 75 euros.
No. 10 3+4=7, so 504 is 3/7 of the total ratio. 504÷3=168, 168×7=1,176, so the total amount is 1,176. 1,176-504=672, so the larger part of the ratio is 672.

2 - Three apples have four quarters each, so 4x3 = 12.

8 - Divide 60 and 80 euro by 2, giving you (a) 3:4 and (b) 4:3

10 - Emma will get 175, Jane will get 75.15.

15 - The larger is 882, and the sum is 1386.
